What is the JC Penney Kiosk?

The JCPenney Associate Kiosk is the online Employee Portal for JC Penney employees and managers. From within the website, employees can manage their work schedules, taxes, payslips, health benefits and 401K plans and much more.

The J. C. Penney Company operates 1,060 department store locations in 49 U.S. states and Puerto Rico. The company has approximately 105.000 employees.

JC Penney Associate Kiosk Login.

At the JC Penney Associate Kiosk Portal, employees can login by using their JC Penney UserID and password to access employee details, work schedules and employee discounts.

You must login through the JCPenney Associate Homepage at www.jcpassociates.com. You will automatically be redirected to a a login page with the url of www.extapps.jcpenney.com/ps/associateinformation2.html?cmCatID=1, or similar. Don’t worry, it is the right page.

Choose the ‘Associate Kiosk @ Home’ option, and you will be redirected to a login page at the url https://associatekiosk.jcpenney.com/idp/SSO.saml2.

You will be prompted to enter your Employee ID and your Password. Your Employee ID is the ID number from JCPenney, plus any leading zeroes that you must add to make it 9 digits in total.

For the initial login you must use an 11 digit default password that includes the initials JCP in uppercase, 2 digits for your month of birth, 2 digits for your year of birth, and the last 4 digits of your SSN.

After logging in for the first time, the system will ask to have the password reset.

After logging into the JCP Associate Kiosk, you can view and change employment details, JC Penney paycheck stubs benefits, work schedules and employee perks, such as discounts. Days off and holidays can also be viewed.

You can alst download forms to request time off for vacations or sick days and W-2 Tax Forms.

How much is the JC Penney Employee Discount?

JC Penney employees get 25% off all merchandise. JC Penney All-Star Performers get 30% off all merchandise.

JC Penney Employee Benefits.

JC Penney offers benefits to bot full-time and part-time employees. A part-time worjker is any employee that works for less than 35 hours every week.

Associates can sign up for serious illness and life insurance, Health benefits (including medical, vision and dental) and a 401K plan. All employees can enjoy paid vacations, get time off, get paid time and a half for holidays and have get the 25% employee discount.

JC Penney Electronic W-2 Tax Forms.

If you are a JC Penney Associate, you receive your year-end W-2 tax forms in an electronic format, which makes it much easier to manage.

When you have logged in via the JC Penney Associate Kiosk login page, you can visit the “My Money” section. From there, click on the W-2/W-2c Consent. You will be then be informed about how to retrieve your W-2 Form. You have to wait until it becomes available first. Click on the “OK” button to continue.

You can also make requests for a reissue of the current or the previous year’s w-2 forms. To do so, visit the Self Service area, Payroll and Compensation from within the JCP Koisk and choose the ‘JCP W-2 Reissue Request’.

Former JC Penney Associates follow a similar process but they most log in into the Former Associate Kiosk, instead (see below). The Former Associate Login remains available for up to 18 months from the official date of termination.

Jtime Launchpad – See Your JC Penney Work Schedules.

To access your work schedule on the JCPenney Associates Kiosk Portal, simply sign in to the JCP Associate Kiosk website, look on the left side of the first page and click on ‘JTime Launchpad’.

Once you have clicked and accessed the JTime Launchpad, you can view both your previous and future JCPenney work schedules from home.

  1. Not a good company to work for. Make their employees feel inferior and like their lives don’t matter. They say they have flexible schedules which is a lie. When you hire in for part time hours they schedule you for way more. They don’t show you how to access your schedule and tell you they put you in for 5 hours and then put you in for 6 or 7 so you get points against you. I was targeted when they first hired me. They knew I only wanted part time hours and they scheduled me way more hours. They never told me how to use the availability schedule and then just kept piling on the hours. I quit for another job because I only wanted part time hours.my new job is very accommodating. I told them at JCPenney that I quit and they are still scheduling me hours. Terrible company to work for

I felt that I was discriminated by letting a certain employee never leaving the register because she got more credit apps and the reason she did was giving customers extra coupons when we were not allowed just for the customers applying. In the meantime I had to run my butt off to check dressing rooms and put things away. Associates complaints about her were being ignored. I was hired as a cashier but Freda the HR person made sure I was not on register on Black Friday and even went as far as having staff in the back room on register when she knew I should have been. Freda told me that since I was hired part time that I was to put a post it on her desk for the days I couldn’t work as long as the schedule wasn’t released and she would make sure I would be off. I retired and moved to Somerset but I was a manager at an Ohio JCPenney store and worked there over 4 years so I loved working there so much I wanted to work after I retired in Somerset. I am truly saddened by how I was treated by management. When I went to the GM he only listened to Freda. Freda actually kept my post it notes and literally lied to the GM and said I asked for a day off every week which is a complete lie. She is the one who told me to tell her the days I wanted to work. I don’t understand why Cathy Cundiff gave 35% off to everyone to just get credit apps and management knows. She never recovered because she was busy getting credit apps wrongly. I realize that credit apps are important and my apot was always under 20 in both stores I worked at but I did not get them giving discounts wrongfully to get them. Other associates could not believe how I was treated. With great sadness I have resigned but also note Freda put a note for us to update our availability which I did and she purposely scheduled me on the days I couldn’t work. The store number is 1248. I think everyone should be treated equally not different.

  3. I totally agree. Everyone seems to get cost of living raises. Associates go with out. I have been with Jcp going on ten years last 4 have seen the store declining.There is no positive communication, lost is the team spirit. Our regular customers who we have come to be part of us can no longer come in and find their favorite cashier , because the cashiers have been moved to a different quad. I miss my regulars. Let’s get jcp back to a family friendly store.

  4. I can’t get benefits even though I work a full time position. This sucks.i am a great salesman but corporate doesn’t care about the little man just the bottom line

JCPenney logistics center Lenexa Kansas was much better 5 years ago when Chris Yonick was in charge because he really cared about the employees and he showed it and when you had a problem and you took it to him something got done about it unlike now where nobody cares and everybody just passes the buck or they just act stupid like they don’t know what you’re talking about you know when we have complaints or problems it’s nice to know that we can go to somebody and see something get done about it but this place has just gone downhill since he left in my opinion I wish you’d come back

You are very right there our warehouse use to be number one.all the good manager left.no one tell us how the company is doing .now it is all about number .wish we could go back to the old days fun ,we could kid around .new hires get by with all kinds of stuff.but us that been there alot of yrs they want us to carry the new ones and I agree go back to the old points we had they would drop off after 13weeks.

  6. I think you should go back to the old point policy where a point that’s incurred drops off after 6 weeks instead of one year cuz I think that was too drastic a jump and I believe that that’s why you turn over so high

  7. It would be a much better place to work if the supervisors would not play favorites and make sure the associates were doing their jobs

  8. Why is it i have been at JC penney and only making $2 more in the 10 years i have been there. The distrubutions center is makeing almost $8 more than the store associates.

  9. The jcpenney kiosk is broken. Changed my info 3 times an now it still won’t work. Im beyond tired of this mess an I’m either going to leave say it an not go to work since the damn kiosk want to be an adult an say my info wrong when I literally just reset it yesterday an login with same info yesterday!

  10. I wish I had some hands on training on the Jtime. I did put in the first one and some how I slipped upon my work schedule and now I can’t seem to find it again

    1. I am working a full time position but I cannot get benefits I think it is just a Bad decision on corporate part. Because I am going to leave this job.. I am a great salesman but they don’t care

  11. I work at southcenter JCpenney wa, my problems is I have a hard time to access my jc time associate schedule since 5 months ago that my kiosk doesn’t work if you can send me my direct access to jcpkiosk or Jctime, I appreciate it.

    1. I had a hard time log in into my jctime or jc kiosk to look my schedule I work in Southcenter Tukwila (Seattle Washington) please send the access web site to my Email thanks

  12. Jtime doesn’t recognize my Social Sec#, therefore not letting me retrieve pay stubs, check schedules, etc. since Aug 2016. Need to gain access. Changed password 6 times.
